Wound Care

The interdisciplinary team, including, a Certified Wound Nurse uses physician-directed protocols to achieve successful outcomes, which can aid in quick recovery and enable return to normal daily activities.

Treatment and healing for many types of wounds include:

  • Pressure Ulcers

  • Diabetic/neuropathic wounds

  • Venous insufficiency ulcers

  • Arterial insufficiency ulcers

  • Infected and/or draining wounds

  • Wounds requiring frequent dressing changes or VAC therapy

  • Amputations

  • Post-surgical wounds

  • Post-surgical wound grafts and flaps

Palliative Care

We offer comprehensive, multidisciplinary care program for patients with advanced illnesses.  Our compassionate care enable our residents to live with quality and dignity making it possible for you to leave your family and friends in our care, secure in the knowledge that their days with us will be comfortable and they will be well taken care of.

Respite Care

We provide respite care if you are going to be away for a day, a week or more.  Your loved one will be able to interact with others with similar experiences, spend time in a safe, supportive environment and participate in activities designed to match personal abilities and needs.

Respiratory Therapy

We offer in-house respiratory therapy services every day.  Respiratory therapy is a program of exercises and treatments designed to help patients maintain and recover lung function after an illness, injury or surgery.  Our nurses provide respiratory services and have been trained to provide care under the direction of your physician.

Social Services

An important component of the therapeutic services offered is the delivery of psychosocial services to residents and family members. The Social Service Department is comprised of a social service designee who has experience in the field of gerontology and long-term care programs such as Medicare and Medicaid.  Our Social Service Director would be happy to discuss financial obligations and assist with completing Medicaid applications should the need arise.  The vast array of services offered include advocacy, service coordination, discharge planning, supportive intervention and information regarding financial assistance.
